Behind the $prompt

Ferney Palacio — aka Majunko

I'm a terminal-first developer. Most of the software I write never wears a GUI — it lives in a shell, does the job, and gets out of the way. My happy place is a CLI, a good API reference, and a problem that can be automated away.

Lately I've been working on tooling around music scrobbling — reconciling what I've actually listened to against streaming services — building client-side scrobblers and safe migration scripts that sync listening history. Having your listening data shouldn't be a privilege, so I like shipping tools that let people keep and move it where they want.

When something is repetitive, boring and inevitable, I'd rather write a script than do it twice.

01. CLI tooling

Rich interactive terminals, OAuth flows and ergonomic commands that make daily workflows faster.

02. Integrations

Wiring third-party APIs together, from Tidal and Last.fm to ListenBrainz.

03. Client-side apps

Small, dependency-free web apps that run entirely in the browser — your data never leaves your machine.
